Empowering Africa's Industrial Future

Seawatt Utilities Limited is a forward-thinking African utility company founded by visionary patriots committed to accelerating Africa’s industrial transformation. The company is strategically focused on leveraging captive centers—industrial parks and free zones—as launchpads for building operational excellence and technical expertise in delivering world-class utility services.

Seawatt’s phased growth strategy ensures a steady transition from serving captive industrial hubs to scaling operations for broader service delivery to urban and rural African communities. This model minimizes risk, ensures reliable service delivery, and builds financial and technical capacity before larger expansions.

First Project - Ibom Solutions Hub Industrial Park (ISHIP)

Seawatt’s flagship project is located at Ibom Solutions Hub Industrial Park (ISHIP) in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria—a rapidly developing industrial corridor designed to support heavy manufacturing, petrochemical processing, and industrial exports.

Project Highlights:

Total Power Requirement: 1200MW (Developed in Phases)

Phase 1 Capacity: 200MW to power core industrial operations.

Initial Beneficiaries:
1. Jindal HBR Plant - 100MW for heavy industrial processing.
2. Ibakchem Plant - 100MW for a 4,800 tons/day ammonia-methanol production.
3. Gaslique LNG Plant - Supporting 100 MSCFD gas processing to 2000 tons/day of LNG.
4. Setroleum Plant - A joint venture with NNPCL, requiring 75 MSCFD gas processing for ammonia-urea production at 2300 tons/day.

Strategic Vision

Phase 1: Building Expertise Through Captive Centers

Seawatt’s focus on industrial parks allows it to deliver mission-critical infrastructure in controlled environments, ensuring reliability and operational excellence.

Phase 2: Expanding Horizons

With proven expertise, Seawatt plans to expand its footprint to urban and semi-urban areas, serving broader populations with essential utilities that meet international standards.

Phase 3: Regional Leadership
